Star Wars Battlefront, first released in 2004, is an action/shooter game from the stable of LucasArts Star wars games that gives fans and gamers the opportunity to re-live and participate in all of the classic Star Wars battles like never before. Players can take on the Empire or play to exterminate the Rebellion once and for all. The game is available is a range of modules from PC to Xbox to PlayStation.
You can select one of a number of different soldier types, drive or fly any vehicle, man any turret on the Star Wars battlefront and conquer the galaxy planet-by-planet online with your friends or offline in a variety of single player modes. Today, single player modes include "Instant Action," "Galactic Conquest" and the story-based "Historical Campaigns" mode that lets you experience all of the epic Star Wars battles from Episodes I-VI, fighting from the perspective of each of the four factions within the game.
You can join your favourite Star Wars heroes and villains - Luke Skywalker for the Rebellion, Darth Vader for the Empire, Mace Windu for the Republic, and Count Dooku for the CIS – and fight for galactic domination. What planet will you conquer first? Which weapon will ensure victory?
