These Terms and Conditions of Use pertain to the Saga Central website and its content and how you, our visitors, can and can not use it. Naturally if you choose to continue to browse or use the site (communicate or place an order with Saga Central), you agree to accept these conditions of use.
Site Access, Copyright and Trademarks
As you have probably already noticed, we at Saga Central have and continue to put in, a considerable amount of hard work into bringing you all that you see on the website. We are, as one might expect, rightfully rather protective of what is in our site. We have compiled this site for the personal use and enjoyment of our fellow Star Wars fans. It is therefore strictly for your private and non-commercial viewing purposes. You can not use, reproduce or modify, complete or in part, any material which appears on this site.

Saga Central reserves the right to make changes to the website, products (including price) or any terms and conditions at any time without notice. It is advisable that customers/visitors regularly refer to these sections to ensure that you are up to date with any changes that may be made.
Site Severability
If for any reason any one or more of our terms and conditions are unenforceable, it shall not affect the enforceability of any remaining terms and conditions.
Age Restrictions on Purchases
Saga Central stocks Star Wars merchandise that is suitable for ages 3 years and up. Star Wars fans come in all ages and thus we would expect that the Saga Central site would be accessed by all ages. While we welcome minors (under 18 years of age) to browse our website, we intend all purchases to be carried out by adults. In other words we do not engage in any business transactions with minors.
Refusal of Sale, Termination of Customer Accounts
Saga Central is naturally in business with the aim of selling merchandise, however, Saga Central reserves the right, to refuse service to a customer, to terminate a customer’s account or to cancel orders/Pre-Orders. Naturally this is a right Saga Central would only exercise after careful consideration and with due reason. Customers will be notified immediately if any portion of this condition is to be enforced.
Accuracy of Product Descriptions
By browsing our product categories, you would be aware that at Saga Central we take great care in providing as much product detail as possible. Although all care is taken, it is important to note that Saga Central is not the manufacturer of these toys and collectables and therefore we can not give an absolute guarantee that the product descriptions, specifications, images or other product related content is 100% accurate, complete, reliable or error free.
For example, images of upcoming products as provided by manufacturers may be prototypes and may be subject to changes before the final product is released for public circulation from the manufacturer.
Product Availability
Stock levels are adjusted automatically via our efficient e-commerce software, once an order is placed. In addition, stock numbers are manually checked on a regular basis for backup. However, there may be incidences when a particular item appears to be in stock on the website when in fact that item may be out of stock. This can happen due to either the very nature of stock turnover, or the stock discrepancies which may occur due to the variations we ourselves may encounter between what we order in terms of product type and/or quantity and what we in fact receive from manufacturers.
Saga Central therefore can not guarantee that all stock is available at the time an order is placed.
In the event that this occurs, you will be immediately notified via email. No payments are processed until stock availability is confirmed.
All customers have equal opportunity to purchase items from the Saga Central website and orders are filled on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
Product Pricing
At Saga Central we aim to bring you an extensive and exciting range of Star Wars toys and collectables, at the best possible prices. We are committed to providing real value for money shopping.
You may have noticed that some products within the same category have slightly varying prices. We are not trying to rip you off! This may be explained in part as being reflective of supply and demand principles. Namely, that the particular product may be in higher public demand yet be significantly less available in terms of supply from manufacturers, rendering that item more difficult and at times also more costly to source and secure. Manufacturers may also influence pricing by limiting the quantities of particular items to a finite number, thus making one item more expensive than its similar or identical counterpart.
All prices are in Australian currency (Australian Dollars) and are inclusive of 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Product Safety - Age Specifications
Please note that all merchandise on the Saga Central website is suitable only for ages 3 years and above. Suitable age groups are provided in product details on this website as well as marked on every product packaging.
Please be sure to read and adhere to the manufacturers age specifications/warnings noted on product packaging.
Collectable items are not intended to be used as toys.
Ordering Information
Placing Orders Online & Order Processing
In order to purchase products from the Saga Central website you need to hold a customer account with Saga Central. To create such an account simply click the my account link located at the top right hand corner of any page on the Saga Central website. Once you complete the details required you have set up your individual username and password, which you then need to enter any time you wish to log into the site or access your online account details.
Having a customer account enables you to add items to your shopping cart and proceed to the checkout. If you already have an account with Saga Central and you have not logged in at the log in box located on the left hand side of any page on this site, you will be prompted to log in at the checkout.
When you wish to purchase a particular Star Wars product, indicate the quantity you wish to purchase and click the BUY NOW button which appears on the right hand side of each product page. The particular item you have chosen is automatically placed in your electronic shopping cart. You may then choose to continue to browse other products and can return at any time to your shopping cart by clicking the SHOPPING CART link located at the top right hand corner of any page on the Saga Central website.
To proceed to making a purchase, click on the CHECKOUT link located at the top right hand corner of any page on the Saga Central website.
Once you have logged in you can complete the additional costs page which provides a drop down selection of shipping methods and their respective costs. After choosing the particular shipping method you require, click on the CONTINUE CHECKOUT button located on that page and this will enable you to proceed to the payment options page.
Select the payment option you wish to use for your purchases then click the COMPLETE CHECKOUT button located on that page and this will complete your purchase.
When making payment by using a credit card, your payment details are transmitted to our secure server ready for processing.

To reduce possible errors, all orders awaiting processing are checked after which stock is allocated to each particular order prior to the order being processed.
When you have placed an order, you will receive an automated email order confirmation. Please check all details as they appear to ensure that you have entered the correct details.
Upon receipt of funds for your purchases, a second automated email confirmation is sent notifying that payment has been successfully received and that your purchased products will be dispatched within 1 - business days.
Your order is then carefully prepared and packed for immediate dispatch from the Saga Central warehouse to your nominated delivery address.
A third and final automated email confirmation is sent to notify that the order has been completed and shipped. If your order is to be delivered by courier you will be provided with a consignment tracking number, which will enable you to track your parcel/s online. For delivery timeframes please refer to 'Shipping Rate and Insurance' section.
Order Cancelation
In-Stock Items
If you decide to cancel your order once you have submitted it, it is essential that you contact us as soon as possible, as all orders are processed and dispatched within 1 – 2 business days.
As such, once an order has been shipped from our warehouse, we are unfortunately unable to cancel it.
Pre-Ordered Items
If you have ordered a product that does not require a deposit, then the sooner you contact us the better, as our streamlined dispatch systems ensure that once the products arrive at our warehouse, the turnaround period to have them ready for shipping to you is very short. Once a Pre-Order product arrives at our warehouse it effectively becomes an In-Stock item and as such, the above mentioned condition for the cancellation of In-Stock products applies.
For Pre-Orders that have required you to pay a 20% deposit, you have 14 days from when you placed the order. If you cancel a Pre-Order that was made with a 20% deposit after the 14 days you will forfeit the deposit.
Special Orders
Items that are specifically ordered in or sourced out for you upon your request are referred to as 'special orders'. Special orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit to be paid at the time of placing the order.
Pre-Orders
A Pre-Order is a term given to stock that is not currently in stock but is expected to be released from the manufacturer by an estimated date.
On the Saga Central website there have items that you can 'Buy Now' but are marked with 'Pre-Order'. An estimated time of arrival (ETA) is indicated next to it.
Simply add this item to your cart and proceed to checkout. Once your order is placed we will assign stock for that item to you. We do not charge your credit card until that item is in stock.
For some items there is a 20% deposit required at time of order, with the balance being charged when the products are ready for shipping to you.
The 20% deposit usually applies to more expensive items. If a deposit is required for an item, this will be indicated above the product price.
Please note that the 20% deposit is non-refundable after 14 days from when you have placed the order.
In-Stock and Pre-Order combined orders
If you place an order which is made up of items that are in stock and Pre-Orders you will receive an email requesting that you indicate which one of the two following options you would prefer to action
i) You Are Willing To Wait - we hold your order and ship all the items you have ordered together, or
ii) You Can't Wait - we split your order and ship what we have In-Stock now and then ship what you have ordered as a Pre-Order when it arrives. At this is in essence two separate shipments, this option will incur additional shipping charges that according to the particular weight and size of the items ordered will be indicated in the email you receive.
- Your Credit Card will be charged the respective amount due for the In-Stock items and those items will be shipped to you. Once the Pre-Order items arrive at the Saga Central warehouse and are ready for shipping, your Credit Card will be charged the remaining amount for the Pre-Order items and those items will be shipped to you.
International Customer Orders
The World Wide Web enables one to actively take part in a truly world wide shopping experience and Saga Central warmly welcomes our international visitors and customers to the site.
Please feel free to request a shipping quote by sending us an email noting the product/s you wish to purchase and the address you wish to have the item/s delivered to and we would be happy to provide you with a quote outlining the shipping costs associated with your order.
If you have placed an order online already, we will contact you with a shipping quote prior to processing payment.
Payment Terms

Cheques and Money Orders must be in Australian currency (Australian Dollars AUD) and made payable to Saga Central.
Orders paid by cheque will not be shipped until cheques are received and funds have cleared the bank.
Items to be paid by cheque will be held for 7 business days from the date order is placed while awaiting the arrival of the cheque and subsequent clearance of the funds from the bank prior to dispatch. If no payment is received within the above mentioned time frame the item may be taken off hold and made available for resale, therefore canceling your order.
Postage and Handling/Shipping
Please note that the terms 'postage & handling' and 'shipping' are interchangeable terms. They are identical services and include deliver by either Australia Post or Courier. All bulky or heavy orders will be delivered by Couriers.
Shipping Rates and Insurance
At Saga Central we understand that once you have placed an order and paid for it you want it to arrive as soon as possible, if not earlier! For this reason we have designed our order and dispatch process so that they are highly efficient and streamlined, to reduce any possible delays.
Shipping charges are calculated during the checkout process according to either the actual weight or the cubic weight equivalent (includes overall dimensions of your parcel/s) of your order, whichever is greater, and the delivery location/postcode. Both Australia Post and Courier companies use cubing to take the weight to volume ratio of the parcel into account, as opposed to only the weight.
All domestic orders are either mailed Registered Post through Australia Post or couriered to the delivery address you have specified while making your purchase.
Since Registered Post has numerous advantages over regular post, it is Saga Central's preferred parcel delivery service. These benefits include:

each parcel that leaves our warehouse contains a unique identification number which allows the particular parcel to be tracked if necessary.

parcels can only be released from Australia Post once the intended recipient has signed for it (Proof of Identity required).

includes insurance/compensation to the value of your order.
Please note that bulky and/or heavy orders (weight/cubic weight greater than 20kg and/or measurement around the parcel/girth greater than 140cm) need to be delivered by courier and have to be delivered to a street address (i.e. No Post Office Boxes).
Please note that delivery approximations only indicate durations once orders have been dispatched from the Saga Central warehouse.
All products that are in stock are dispatched from Saga Central within 1 – 2 business days from when the online order is placed and payment is received/verified.
The approximate delivery times for orders depend on the particular postcode you have specified for order delivery. Delivery timeframes take into consideration whether your order is being shipped to a metropolitan or rural area and are reflected in the variations within States/Territories.

Duties, Taxes, Tariffs and Prohibited Goods
Saga Central advises our International customers that they may be liable for additional charges above and beyond shipping. For this reason we strongly encourage that prior to placing an order, all of our International customers make themselves aware of any import or customs fees that may be applicable for the goods entering their respective country. This may include, but not be limited to, duties, taxes and tariffs. Saga Central is not responsible for any such fees and is further unable to determine which shipments will be charge any such fees or the fee amount that might be charged.
All of our products adhere to Australian safety laws and legal requirements. However, it is the responsibility of the individual prior to purchasing from Saga Central, to ensure that they are not in breach of any laws or regulations enforceable in your State/Territory or Country.
Saga Central does not accept any responsibility for any additional charges incurred by international orders or for any loss or damages incurred by customers if orders are seized by customs in your respective State or Country. Saga Central will not be able to offer any refund, exchange or reimbursement of such orders.
Returns
We ask you to please choose carefully as we do not offer exchanges or give refunds if you:

change your mind

no longer need/have use for the item

make a wrong decision/choice

already knew of a particular fault or damage (i.e. purchased clearly marked damaged stock)

goods appear to have been damaged by customer
We gladly offer you the opportunity to choose between an exchange or refund if you notify us within 30 days from date of delivery (Registered Post Receipted Delivery date or courier delivery date), if:
Saga Central reserves the right to assess the condition of returned items for authenticity of claims made, prior to offering an exchange or refund.
Please note that if the product is faulty and more than 30 days have passed since the delivery date, Saga Central will need to present a claim to the relevant manufacturer and await a resolution.
Returns Procedure
Step 1: Requesting a Return
To request a return of an item please contact us within the required 30 days from date of delivery, indicating that you wish to return an item for exchange or refund. Please include the following in your email:
- order number
- details of the item you wish to return
- reason for the return
- whether you wish to request a replacement, exchange for another item or refund
Step 2: Issuing of a Return Authorisation Number
If your request for a return meets the conditions outlined above, we will send you an email with a Return Authorisation Number. Please print this entire email out as you will need to include it with the item you intend to return to us.
Step 3: Sending the item back to us
We then ask you to carefully and appropriately repack the item to be returned, ensuring that it is securely packaged for transit. If possible please use the original box it arrived in and send it back to us including the Return Authorisation Number email. For your own protection we advise you to use a carrier that provides a tracking number, such as Australia Post, to return the item to us. Saga Central will not accept parcels sent back as 'Return to Sender.'

Please note that a refund or exchange will only be granted if the goods are returned to us within 14 days of being issued the Return Authorisation Number email.
Goods returned due to the incorrect items being sent must arrive to us in re-saleable condition.
Step 4: Issuing the Exchange or Refund
Once goods are received within the required 14 days from when the Return Authorisation Number was issued, your exchange or refund will be actioned.
For exchanges, we will attempt to replace your item if it is still in stock. If it is no longer available, you may select another item to the same value. You will not be charged for the shipping cost associated with this replacement order.
For refunds, the purchase amount will be returned to you within 1-2 business days depending on the method of payment originally used (please see table below).
